We heard from a panel of mobile food pioneers moderated by food truck expert Ray Villaman including panelists from Chicago’s own, Tiffany Kurtz from Flirty Cupcakes, Aaron Noveshen, co-founder and director of culinary development, The Culinary Edge/Mobi Munch/Pacific Catch; Ludo Lefebvre, chef/owner, LudoBites food truck and Mary Sue Milliken, chef/owner, Border Grill, Border Grill Truck and Ciudad and Matthew Gellar, SoCal Mobile Food Vendor Association (MFVA). These mobile food truck operators and chefs discussed cooking on the street and we found out why the mobile restaurant movement is exploding in this great city and around the country.
This was a tremendous experience and we made some great connections including the guys at Bunge MOE who use oil to make healthy food from a truck. Thanks to Bill McCullogh and his crew for showing us his vehicle and lending his hand to help us in bringing the mobile food revolution to Chicago.
